Summer Lowe is an artist and teacher.

Her abstracts are inspired by landscapes and natural forms. Each painting is an exploration of color and light. The process of applying thin layers of pigment over impasto textures creates a jewel-like transparency of brilliant hues. Recent figurative paintings continue her process of expressing color and texture within form.

Summer studied art in Calfornia and has a Master's Degree in Painting. Her teaching career has influenced her painting style and has kept her highly motivated.
