Summer Lowe is an artist and teacher.

Her abstracts are inspired by landscapes and natural forms. Each painting is an exploration of color and light. The process of applying thin layers of pigment over impasto textures creates a jewel-like transparency of brilliant hues. The compositions have focal points of pure white spaces that are restful areas among the activity of colorful palette knife and brushstrokes.

Summer studied art in Calfornia and has a Master's Degree in Painting. Her teaching career has influenced her painting style and has kept her highly motivated.
